Australian Funeral Directors Peter J Jackson Cremation Service

As part of our service to you, we offer a cremation service in your own local church, park, or place of your choosing which can be held in the morning, afternoon or evening. Our funeral service is working with the church and the community to bring cremation services into the reach of country families to make it affordable and acceptable.

By having the cremation service in the family church, hall, local park, at home, we eliminate the need for everybody to find transport and the three hour travel to Perth, only to have to return and hour or so later after the service. This is especially convenient for older members of the family and a local service has no time factor unlike the metropolitan crematorium chapels. As one metropolitan minister remarked when he travelled up to a local town to do a service, "now we are in the country, we throw the watch away!"

The Deceased is transferred to the city Crematorium after the cremation service and the ashes are returned within a week. We can arrange to have the floral tributes taken to the local hospital after the service, thus putting them to another useful purpose and keeping it within the community.

The lovely Cuolahan Pavillion in Kellerberrin is a popular venue for our local cremation service. This facility provides seating and the refreshments are enjoyed there after the service without anyone having to move anywhere. It has lovely view from the windows and is large enough for a big attendance. Peter has read the service on these occasions but if a religious service is required there is no reason why a clergyman couldn't be obtained.
